Covid-19 and courses

AKKS Trondheim adheres at all times to the current recommendations for infection control. We follow the Norwegian Music Council’s infection control rules to be able to complete courses, and are continuously updated on all assessments of music activities and infection control. If we are forced to shut down due to the Covid-19 situation, courses may be canceled at short notice. All participants will be notified of this via email and text message. If physical courses are canceled, we will try to find different dates or you will be offered e-learning lessons, if you do not want to participate in our e-learning lessons, you will be refunded the remaining course fee.

Note that there is no refund for course days the participant had to miss due to respiratory symptoms or other illness and therefore could not attend classes. Hours that are canceled due to instructor absence will be given at end of the semester by agreement with the instructor.

Infection control rules for course participants

  • Do not attend courses if you are ill!
    Sick people should stay at home, this also includes people with mild respiratory symptoms
  • Wash hands before and after courses.
  • Meet exactly the course time specified.
    To avoid congestion, show up on time and do not stay in the premises after the course, keep a distance also in the waiting area.
  • Keep your distance to other participants and your instructor.
  • To avoid infection, do not touch others’ instruments or course equipment..
  • It is recommended that everyone over 12 years uses a mask when you are at Buranhus, you can take off the mask when you are playing.

Infection control measures by AKKS Trondheim and instructors:

  • AKKS Trondheim provides the necessary equipment for disinfection etc.
  • All instructors are introduced to infection control measures
  • All course participants are sent infection control rules, and information is hung on the premises.
  • Instructors disinfect all touch points between each student
