LOUD is a band camp for girls, non-binaries and transgender people aged 11-17 that takes place during the autumn holidays at Buranhus. The camp requires no prior knowledge, and the participants are guided by skilled instructors from the music scene in Trondheim. During the week we have band rehearsals, various workshops and you get to know other music enthusiasts. We end the week with a concert for friends and family.
At LOUD camp you will experience the following:
The camp is suitable for both beginners, people who have never even touched an instrument before, and it is just as fun for those who can play from before. We have everything needed for equipment, so you do not need to bring your own instrument.
We start the week by getting to know each other, before we start the instrument carousel. Here, all participants get to try their hand at guitar, bass, vocals and drums. At the end of the day, participants write a priority list of which instruments they liked best.
Based on the wishes, we divide the group into bands and start making our own songs. Our skilled band instructors will guide and guide you throughout the week in both playing technique, songwriting and how to play together. The band camp gives you a deep dive into the world of music and you will, among other things, learn to play various instruments, learn about equipment and the rehearsal room, songwriting, stage communication, the music industry and how to play in a band. And not least, you get to know many new people interested in music! We look forward to a social and musical week!

About LOUD: LOUD is a band workshop that is arranged all over the country under the auspices of AKKS and JM Norway. LOUD is for girls and non-binary between 11 and 17 years. In a few days, the participants will have the opportunity to play in bands, try out songwriting, test different instruments, and meet other music enthusiasts and form new friendships. LOUD works to create self-confidence, unity and musical interest. The camp is suitable for both participants who have played before, and those who want to try something completely new! AKKS Trondheim arranges LOUD during the autumn holidays in 2020, but you also have the opportunity to participate in summer camps where young people from all over the country participate.
