Vocals

On the vocal course at AKKS, you become more confident in your voice, both by singing in a group and singing alone in front of the other participants.

Our courses focus on a feeling of mastery and joy of playing, and the teaching takes place in a safe environment, in groups of up to five participants. Large parts of the courses will be arranged according to the level of the participants.

Beginners course

At vocal beginners course you learn basic singing technique and voice use, as well as warm-up techniques and breathing exercises. Through exercises in vocal technique, you will develop your relationship to your own voice and be left with basic knowledge of singing. This course is for those who have sung little or have little experience with the singing technique. Do you have e.g. experience from choir we recommend level 2.

In the course you will get an introduction to microphone technique and the use of singing systems. Participants will also learn exercises they can use during self-practice. Some self-practice is expected between the course days.

Advanced course

At vocal advanced course we work to cultivate your personal voice and expression. Through exercises, we work to develop scope, timbre, intonation and volume. Songs and vocal exercises are used to develop the vocal technique. In addition, we will try to improvise. From previous knowledge, one must know basic singing technique and warm-up exercises, as this course will not have as much focus on this as our level 1 course. If you are in doubt about which level to choose, contact us.
